Basilic Restaurant, located on beautiful Balboa Island,in Newport Beach, California, first opened its doors by chef/owner Bernard Althaus in February 1997. The intimate and romantic 24-seat restaurant has since proved that good things do in fact come in small packages. Since then Bernard has cooked each dish on his menu to order with specialized care for each guest at Basilic.
Public parking in the area (Should not be an issue during weekdays)
Our host and Chef Bernard Althaus recommends:
Mixed Green Baby Lettuce with a Basil Vinegrette
Raclette with Swiss Plate (Bündnerfleisch, Saucisson, Prosciutto, etc)
Choice of
Vacherin Glacée with Meringue
or
Gateaux Bullois (Chocolate covered Pecan Pie)
Price: $48
Includes tip and service charge - Wine, beer and beverages are separate
Please note: Seating is limited to 24 guests in this cozy, little place and you MUST R.S.V.P. and mail your check by November 22, 2006
