Hi,
I'm moving to La Chaux-de-Fonds or Neuchatel in a few months. I'm very excited.
I want to find some cool people to hang out with as soon as I get there.
I'll have just been to burning man, and want to make sure to find some fun parties to experience after that.
If you have any tips about these cities, or Switzerland in general, I would love to hear them.
Hopefully I can meet some of you.

Re: Moving to Neuchatel from u.s.a.
Wed, September 27, 2006 - 2:31 PMStrange idea.... why move to La Chaux ..? Neuchatel is very nice. The lake is beautiful and the nightlife is fairly fun, but La Tchaux is baaaaad. Lost in the valley and covered with cold fog 200 days a year. Brrrr! I was at BM this year too, and I don't think you'll find what you're looking for in La chaux-de-Fonds. Go to Neuchatel, Lausanne or Geneva instead.
Anyhow, if it turns out to be a great experience, please let me know and I'll make sure to change my mind and come to visite next time I go to visit my folks.

Thu, September 28, 2006 - 10:10 AMActually Arno is quite right there. La Chaux is a bit of a pit but has its charm if you're in for a quiet lifestyle. If those two locations are your only choice, take Neuchatel for sure. You also be more at ease to move to or from there. By train all major Swiss cities are just an hour or two away.
